Right — been using this thing for maybe four months now and it’s stuck on my phone, reckon I’d chuck my thoughts in since a mate asked me last week. I’m UK based, mainly do football and horses, nothing mad, for context.

The reason I started using it was honestly a bit daft — I couldn’t ever work out what an e/w return actually came to when the place terms changed. Basically I’d guess and then be surprised. These days I type the odds in before I place anything, even a straight one-selection punt.

The single bet calculator is the part I’m on daily — type in stake and odds and it spits out returns straight away, fractions or decimals. It also handles the multiples — trebles returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, a yankee, which is where I always got it wrong. If you want a look, it’s here how to work out a patent bet — free, no signup.

The thing that actually shifted things for me is the nerdier extras. The probability thing which shows you the overround, and there’s the kelly calculator — I run quarter kelly as the full version is terrifying. The dutch tool gets used a fair bit if I’m covering two or three runners.

Not all sunshine though. Its interface looks pretty plain — no polish, it’s clearly function over form. Phone-wise it’s usable though the acca grid make you pinch and zoom. And no proper app, it’s a website and that’s it — slight shame just flagging it.

Right, that’s me. Doesn’t cost anything, not plastered in adverts, does the job. If anyone honestly adds it up in their head, try it — saves me a load of arguments with the bookie.

OK — have been messing about with this thing for about six months now and I keep coming back, so figured I’d write something up since a mate asked me a few days back. Am in the UK, mainly stick to footie and the horses, a fiver here and there, just so you know where I’m coming from.

How I found it was genuinely pretty stupid — I never could get my head round what an ew payout actually was when the place terms changed. I’d just guess and get a shock. Now I stick my stake in first, every time, even the boring singles.

The single bet calculator tool is the one I open most — you drop in the price and your stake and it spits out the return with no faffing, fractions or decimals. There’s also the fiddly ones — trebles returns, a lucky 15, yankees, honestly that’s where I’d always got it wrong. If you want a look, it’s over at acca calculator — free, no signup.

What really changed how I bet were the geekier bits. The implied probability converter which shows you the overround, plus a kelly staking tool — I stick to fractional kelly as the full version is terrifying. Dutching calculator gets used a fair bit when I’m spreading across selections.

Couple of gripes. The design looks a bit basic — zero flash, it’s clearly function over form. Phone-wise it’s usable although the acca grid make you pinch and zoom. There’s no proper app, just the site — doesn’t bother me just flagging it.

Right, that’s me. Doesn’t cost anything, no ads shoved in your face, does what it says. If anyone still works out returns on a calculator app, give it a go — saves me plenty of arguments with the bookie.

So — been on this thing for something like a few months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so thought I’d chuck my thoughts in since a mate asked me the other day. Am in the UK, mainly stick to footie and the horses, a fiver here and there, just so you know where I’m coming from.

What got me on it was honestly pretty stupid — I never could figure out what an ew return actually was once you get five places instead of three. I’d just guess and then be surprised. These days I type the odds in first, every time, even a simple single bet.

The single bet calculator tool is the one I use most — type in the price and your stake and it spits out profit and total return straight away, either odds format. It also handles the fiddly ones — trebles returns, a lucky 15, yankees, honestly that’s where I always lose track. If you fancy a poke about, it lives at bet calculator — free, no signup.

One thing that really shifted things for me is the nerdier tools. There’s an implied probability converter that shows the overround, and a kelly calculator — I stick to fractional kelly since full stakes are terrifying. Dutching calculator is handy too when I’m covering two or three runners.

Not all sunshine though. Its design is pretty plain — zero frills, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. Phone-wise it’s fine although the acca grid need a bit of scrolling. There’s no proper app, it’s browser only — fine by me but worth saying.

Right, that’s me. Doesn’t cost anything, barely any ads, works. If you even now does the maths on paper, try it — it’s saved me a load of dumb bets I’d have regretted.

So — been on this thing for something like four months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so thought I’d write something up since a mate asked me last week. I’m in the UK, generally stick to footie and the horses, small stakes, so take it how you like.

How I found it was honestly pretty stupid — I couldn’t ever work out what an ew payout actually came to when the place terms changed. Basically I’d wing it and moan when the payout landed. Now type the odds in before I place anything, even a simple single bet.

Their single bet calculator is the part I use most — you put in stake and odds and it spits out returns instantly, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. It also handles the multiples — doubles and trebles maths, lucky 15s, a yankee, and that’s where most people I know lose track. If you want a look, it lives at odds converter — free, no signup.

One thing that really made a difference was the nerdier extras. There’s an odds-to-probability calculator and it makes obvious what margin’s baked in, plus a kelly criterion calculator — I run quarter kelly because full kelly is a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutch tool is decent if I’m covering two or three runners.

Not all sunshine though. Its layout feels very functional, let’s say — no polish, it’s clearly function over form. On mobile it’s fine but the bigger tables make you pinch and zoom. There’s no proper app, it’s a website and that’s it — slight shame but you asked.

So yeah. Costs nowt, not plastered in adverts, does the job. If you even now adds it up in their head, have a look — it’s saved me a load of “wait, that’s it?” moments.
