Right — been using this thing for something like four months now and I keep coming back, reckon I’d chuck my thoughts in since someone asked me the other day. Am in the UK, mainly bet football and racing, a fiver here and there, so take it how you like.

The reason I started using it was actually a bit daft — I couldn’t ever work out what an each way payout actually came to with 1/5 odds a place. I used to just eyeball it and then be surprised. Now I stick my stake in before I place anything, even the boring singles.

The single bet calculator tool is the bit I’m on daily — type in the price and your stake and it shows returns straight away, either odds format. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — acca and treble maths, lucky 15s, patents and yankees, which is where I always got it wrong. If you fancy a poke about, it’s over at what is a treble bet and it’s free with no account nonsense.

What really made a difference were the geekier tools. They’ve got an odds-to-probability calculator and it makes obvious what margin’s baked in, and there’s the kelly staking calculator — I stick to fractional kelly since full stakes are far too aggressive. Dutching calculator gets used a fair bit for when I’m splitting a race.

Couple of gripes. Its layout looks very functional, let’s say — zero frills, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. Phone-wise it’s fine but the acca grid are a squeeze. There’s no app, just the site — fine by me just flagging it.

So yeah. Doesn’t cost anything, not plastered in adverts, does what it says. Anyone who even now works out returns on a calculator app, have a look — saved me a load of arguments with the bookie.

So — have been messing about with this thing for about four months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so figured I’d chuck my thoughts in since a lad on another thread asked me the other day. Am UK based, mainly stick to footie and the horses, a fiver here and there, just so you know where I’m coming from.

What got me on it was honestly a bit daft — I never could work out what an ew return actually was with 1/5 odds a place. I’d just guess and get a shock. Now I punch the numbers in before every slip, even a simple single bet.

The single bet calculator is the part I’m on daily — type in your stake, the odds and you get profit and total return instantly, fractions or decimals. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — doubles and trebles returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, yankees, honestly that’s where most people I know mess it up. If you fancy a poke about, it lives at odds conversion and it’s free with no account nonsense.

One thing that really changed how I bet was the nerdier tools. There’s an odds-to-probability converter that shows how much the bookie’s taking, plus a kelly tool — I use half kelly since full stakes are far too aggressive. The dutch tool gets used a fair bit if I’m spreading across selections.

Couple of gripes. The design is very functional, let’s say — zero polish, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On mobile it’s fine but the acca grid need a bit of scrolling. Also there’s no app, just the site — doesn’t bother me but worth saying.

Right, that’s me. Doesn’t cost anything, not plastered in adverts, does the job. If anyone honestly works out returns on a calculator app, try it — it’s saved me plenty of dumb bets I’d have regretted.

So — have been messing about with this thing for something like four months now and it’s stuck on my phone, reckon I’d chuck my thoughts in since a lad on another thread asked me last week. Am based in the UK, generally do football and horses, a fiver here and there, for context.

How I found it was honestly pretty stupid — I could never figure out what an e/w return actually was when the place terms changed. Basically I’d guess and then be surprised. Now stick my stake in before every slip, even the boring singles.

The single bet calculator is the part I use most — you put in stake and odds and you get profit and total return straight away, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. There’s also the multiples — trebles returns, a lucky 15, yankees, honestly that’s where I’d always got it wrong. If you want a look, it’s over at betting converter odds and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

The thing that actually changed how I bet was the nerdier tools. There’s an odds-to-probability calculator that shows how much the bookie’s taking, and there’s the kelly tool — I run quarter kelly since full stakes are terrifying. Dutching calculator is handy too when I’m splitting a race.

Not all sunshine though. Its layout feels pretty plain — no flash, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On my phone it’s fine though the bigger tables make you pinch and zoom. Also there’s no app, it’s browser only — slight shame but you asked.

Anyway. Free, not plastered in adverts, does the job. If anyone still adds it up in their head, try it — it’s saved me plenty of “wait, that’s it?” moments.

OK — been on this thing for maybe six months now and it’s stuck on my phone, reckon I’d say something since someone asked me a few days back. I’m in the UK, mostly bet football and racing, a fiver here and there, for context.

What got me on it was genuinely embarrassing — I couldn’t ever get my head round what an each way return actually was with 1/5 odds a place. Basically I’d guess and moan when the payout landed. Now I punch the numbers in before I place anything, even the boring singles.

The single bet calculator is the bit I open most — you put in stake and odds and it spits out returns straight away, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. There’s also the bigger stuff — doubles and trebles maths, lucky 15 and lucky 63, patents and yankees, honestly that’s where I’d always got it wrong. If you want a look, it’s over at lucky 63 betting calculator and it’s free with no account nonsense.

One thing that genuinely shifted things for me was the nerdier tools. The probability thing which shows you what margin’s baked in, plus a kelly staking tool — I stick to fractional kelly as the full version is terrifying. The dutching one gets used a fair bit when I’m covering two or three runners.

On my phone it works although the bigger tables are a squeeze. There’s nothing on the app store, just the site — slight shame but worth saying.
